  1. Well whata ya know - that is, to my thinking, the very best way to cook up a corned beef - but I guess my inner Irishness is getting weak, cause I didn't even get one of those this year. I think I feared that if I were to try something like that, my dear old departed dad would rise up and strike me aside the head - that may be a delicious way to enjoy corned beef, but no self-respecting Irishman would allow it on St. Patrick's Day (the cabbage has to cook with the corned beef).

    What am i having tonight? Freshly made pasta made with semolina flour, and covered with a tomato sauce that's been cooking for 10 hours - I don't think dad would much care for that either.
