You say tomato....
I say tamawto......
Got the tomatoes out of the little pots and into the big pots yesterday.
They're good size for this early. And of course there was a frost last night, but I covered them.
Ahh, a gardener too! I knew down deep you were a good person - I too would be a gardener, if only I were allowed to be - got a call that my tiller is finally ready at the shop; just in time for another week of rain! (Ever try to till mud?)
Do you grow those 'maters in pots, or transfer them to the ground eventually?
Judging a man by his plants, huh? They'll stay in the pots. I'm learning how to can, so I'd like to get enough to experiment. Next year hopefully I'll have a garden in the back yard. I'm in the process of tearing down the swimming pool, then I've got to redo a privacy fence that has seen better days, and then, cordon off an area for the garden that will keep our mutts out of it. It's a work in progress Doc.
