So we were down to one dog (Red, The Official Blog Dog of Tupper Cooks!) after all the girls finally moved out and took their dogs with them.
Here's Red, My first puppy.
She's 5 years old now.
But we didn't want Red to be lonely when we're at work, so this past weekend, we adopted a cute little German Shephard pup.
So here's Ellie,short for Elvira, which is the name of the German woman we adopted her from.
Ellie's sayin', "I wanna play!"
Red says, "OK!"
Or maybe I'll chew on my toy!

ReplyDeleteOoooh! Well, of course - but the big question is, 'is she housebroken yet?' Puppies are cute, but that training stage is just too much like having a real one - so we thought we solve that problem if we got an older dog - Henry was a year and a half when we got him, but we still had a break-in period with him - he was reluctant to 'go' when on a leash, and at first we hadn't yet taught him to 'free roam' the yard - so we had some accidents until we finally installed a pet door.

Aww...I love her. My Shephard, Greta, is 11 now. They are such wonderful, loyal dogs :)
