Random stuff......

So I took a pic of the puppy, plugged in the cord and realized I had 25 pics that I hadn't downloaded.
Oh well, shit happens, right Pav?

So this is kind of a compilation of the last week.

Pizza I made last Thursday. My side is the cheese side, Bunny get's the other!

Looked better before I baked it!
Cheese ran downhill!
Still, it was pretty good. Better than decent!

Then I decided to make tomato sauce with the rest of last summer's tomatoes that we froze.
We froze them in bags with the thingy that sucks the air out. The name eludes me at this moment, but you get it. right?
(Uhh, the machine that realllly sucks the air out of ya!)
Kinda looks like bacon.

And with that sauce, and some other stuff, I made some damn good lasagna.
I'd give all the details, but then what's left of the Secret Service would come and bust me.

And the obligatory Puppy Pic!

Took this from inside the Kitchen. She's sitting on our patio table!

Dutch Oven Pizza..........

Received an e-mail from my friend Annemarie with some nice pics of Dutch Oven pizza that she and her hubby Jack made over the weekend.

Here's the text of her e-mail.

Jack and I made a pizza over the fire yesterday in our dutch oven.  I used my breadmaker dough and homemade sauce.  I added some of Joe Shaheens' sweet sausage, mushrooms, pepperoni, bacon, mozarella, and provolone that I got at Vincent's in Syracuse.  We hung it over the fire for 10 minutes or so in the dutch oven that we preheated.  Then we added coals to the top.  It was amazing.

I gotta say I'm fairly blown away by the pics.
Seriously, who would think of making pizza in a big old cast iron pot over a fire in the backyard?

Well, Jack and Annemarie would.
And man, it looks outstanding!

Here's the pics.

Pretty friggin' cool, huh?

I can't wait to try this pie!

Bread and Puppy......

Here's a loaf I made a couple of nights ago.
The better half likes it for toast in the AM.
Me, I just like it slathered in butter!

As my buddies DM Cavanagh and Dr. Fugawe say: flour, water, yeast, and salt.

And the obligatory puppy pic.

Dog Day Afternoon for Ellie.

Hmmm, what can I chew next?
Let's see, I did the printer cable, 2 pairs of Dad's reading glasses, 1 pair of Mom's, the remote control, 1 phone, a shitload of dish towels, the bathtub drain, shoes, boots, two spatulas, and tennis balls.
Dammit, there must something left!

Oh yeah, the Cat!
And here's the cookies the better half just made, yeah baby.
Toll House cookies and milk for supper!

Keep Baking my friends!

She said, "Seriously Pizza Again?".......

Well kind of.
You see, we haven't had pizza in the Tupper household since Friday.
And it's Tuesday, so WTF?

Actually, she nodded and smiled:
A- Because she beat me in the March Madness Basketball Pool at work, and,
B-She won the whole goddamn pool!

So I figured I could make pizza and get away with it.
I did!

While she went and loaded up on makeup at Kinney's, I went to the grocery store and bought pizza stuff.

Yes, I bought Cheese curds while she bought mascara!

That said, here's the 2 pies I made.

Here's the Better Half spreading sauce.
Not any sauce, but Diana's secret sauce!

There it is, sliced onions, chopped garlic, secret sauce, and shredded Mozz.
\
Yup.

And then I decided to make a pie with River Rat Cheese Curds.
Actually I decided to do this a few months ago, but never got around to it.
Well, tonight I did.

Cheese curds used to be dirt cheap, like giveaway, now they're friggin' gourmet food.
I spent a 5 spot on that pack.

So I spread the dough, and placed the curds.

Melted great. I put more sauce on this pie than I normally do simply because I wanted to use it all up, so the curds kind of floated.
But man, it was good.
These cheese curds are salty, so if you don't like salty, probably not for you.
Would I do it again?
Hell yeah!

Later!

And! Tomorrow's lunch is done!
