Every now and then the Moon, Sun, Earth and Stars get into the right alignment, such was the case Friday night at my friend and co-worker's Kate's house on Big Tupper Lake.
Kate has a beautiful house, and in that kitchen in that beautiful house is something special.
A Wood Fired Oven.
It's fabulous.
Want.
What made the night really enjoyable was a mix of friends, some old, some new.
Oh yes, there was the pizza made in the WFO.
If you haven't had pizza made in a WFO you need to, and soon.
This was our second time making pizza there, and it was a blast.
View across the Great Room. That's me in the back in the kitchen.
Roasted tomatoes from Diana.
Ted, doing what he does best!
Kate, the Wilson's, Laura and Lisa.
Some of Dave's dough.
Fine Dining.
Adam (founder of Slice) checking things out.
Adam did a post about the evening-(Click Here to See It!)
Ready for the oven.
The Better Half wielding the peel!
Dave and Annmarie with a slew of toppings.
Action in the kitchen.
One of about 2 dozen pies we made.
The Serious Eats/Slice crew.
This pretty much says it all.

Incredible!
ReplyDeleteNice. I love how this set of pictures tells the story from the Tupper Lake NY perspective. I wonder if your TLNY friends thought the SE/Slice crew was weird. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome, glad you all got to meet up!
ReplyDeleteDamn I'm so jealous... Great Pics!
ReplyDeleteThe TLNY folks didn't think the SLice folks were wierd. I wondered what you all thought of us. It was a really fun night!
