Upside Down Pizza.......

Just when you think you've made every variation of pizza known to man you get lucky.

I ran across an article on Upside Down Pizza on  Slice (Click Here for link)  yesterday and in the interest of celebrating National Pizza Month (again), I made my own version last night.

 

It's pretty simple (like me). 

1)Spread out your dough.

2) Put your cheese on, I used shredded mozz.  You'd also put toppings on at this point.

3) Put your sauce on top.

4) Bake it.

5) Eat it! (I mean that in a nice way)

Honestly it came out awesome for a first attempt.  Kind of like tomato pie from Utica.

Sauce from scratch-let me know if you want the recipe.

Dough from scratch-proofing.

Spread it out and added seasonings, then the cheese (no cheese shot, sorry)

Spread some sauce.

And bake it.

At this point I'd normally show a pic of the bottom and a cross-section shot, but I started eating and forgot about it.

Trust me, it was really good.
